Bowling
Industry INVENTION |
-
Inventor of the Crossover Chair...
world's only wheelchair designed for bowling
|
www.crossoverchair.com |
www.crossoverchair.net
|
The
Crossover Chair is first wheelchair designed
for bowling..
The technology
allows the seat the ability to shift either right
or left and tilt right or left with with
the push a button..
The Crossover
Chair provides an unprecedented amount of clearance
and leverage by allowing the armswing to
swing on a vertical plane, just like able-bodied
bowlers..
And when finished
bowling, or any other activity, the user simply
presses the the "Home" button to return
the seat to a neutral everyday-use position.
|
For
everyday use, the Crossover Chair invention
offers users an unprecedented increased range of
motion, including the ability of picking up an object
directly from the floor while remaining fully seated!.
Additionally, Crossover Chair technology
also allows the seat to offset directly against
the bed so the user can easily slide from the bed
to the wheelchair and from the wheelchair to the
bed without having to deal the space created by
normal wheelchairs, scooters and powerchairs.

"At
the USOC we recognize that Olympians need nurturing,
not only in preparation for elite competition,
but also when they are young and looking to enjoy
what they do. We’re pleased to have the 2010
National Developmental Coach of the Year Michael
Nyitray contribute to this issue by offering
his advice on working with young athletes."
